You know not to let your technology get too hot, but did you know that extreme cold can be harmful too? As we head into seriously cold weather, remember these four tips:
1. Don’t Leave Your Devices In The Car
Just a few hours can cause damage.
2. Wrap Them Up
If you’re going outside in the cold, keep your gadgets in a protected sleeve or insulated pocket. Freezing temperatures can cause further damage to cracked screens.
3. Protect Your Battery
The cold will drain your batteries faster, so bring a portable charger if possible, and turn off your devices to conserve power.
4. Let Your Devices Warm Before Use
When you head inside, give your laptop or phone a few minutes to warm to room temperature before use.
