Placement and Usage
A telephone placed too far away may cause repeated reaching, leading to shoulder, arm, and neck pain.
Prolonged conversations with the phone handle clamped between your shoulder and head may lead to neck injury.
- • Place your telephone at a comfortable distance that does not require you to reach. This will reduce injury.
- • Consider using a hands-free headset. This will allow you to maintain upright posture and avoid neck pain.
